We live in an age where music no longer moves people. It just talks to them.

Saw a band play recently. Took a look away from the stage and observed
the crowd: just a ton of people standing there. It inspired me to
write this--

We live in an age where music no longer moves people. It just talks to
them.

i would argue that you live in a CITY where music no longer moves people. and actually, it probably does move them, but they're too self-conscious/ preoccupied with fronting to let it show. go west, go to austin, LA, oakland, portland - people are moved by music there and don't hide it. (can you tell im done with NYC? yeah, definitely done with it.) but good work with the moblogs... hope you keep it up!
